Our rope is the highest quality, meeting and exceeding stands for quality, durability and strength. The process begins with miles of yarns being formed into plies. Three plies are twisted and balanced to create our 3-ply rope.

Using 1000 feet of cotton rope, the hammock body is constructed using a double-latch design adding greater comfort and strength. Hand-tied bowline knots are used that are designed to tighten when weight is applied. Three-ply twisted premium cotton rope is used for superior comfort. The hammock spreader bars are solid oak and triple hand dipped in marine spar varnish preserve wood and protect against the elements. Each bar receives an official Hatteras Hammocks logo. Designed to support up to 450 lbs. of weight. Heavy-duty zinc chromate plated hanging hardware is designed to resist rust.
